The six-figure tie-up sees Carlsberg sign up its seventh Premier League club, extending its dominance over Carling, which has four. It is the brewer's biggest 'official beer' deal with any top-tier club except Liverpool, of which it is the official shirt sponsor.
Carlsberg has secured exclusive brand sector rights at Tottenham. The deal includes branding on stadium signage, use of the club's imagery, tickets for corporate hospitality, signed shirts and player appearances.
As well as its club ties, Carlsberg is official beer and sponsor of UEFA and the Football Association.
Last week the brewer announced that its Tetley's bitter brand would not be renewing its 拢5m five-year title sponsorship of rugby's Super League.
Carlsberg intends to retain a sponsorship relationship with the competition's organiser, the Rugby Football League.
