The programming has been developed with the brand entertainment company Cake and will run on digital platforms as well as on TV.
Carling's Festival Postcards consists of a 10-part series of 15-minute programmes.
These will follow four lads from Newcastle from the moment they say goodbye to their mothers until the last tent peg has been pulled out of the ground.
The programmes will take in all the highs and lows of the festival season.
The series will be supported by profiles on Channel4.com/music and Carling.com.
There will also be out-takes, blogs and pictures for viral distribution via YouTube and other social networking sites.
The series kicks off this month with the Isle of Wight festival.
Further episodes will air around festivals including Wireless, Latitude, T4 on the Beach, Global Gathering, The Big Chill and the V Festival.
Cake is responsible for public relations as well as managing the project and liaising with broadcast partners.
