Carat wins $75m Kohler account

LONDON - Carat has landed the global media planning and buying account for kitchen and bathroom company Kohler, estimated to be worth $75m (£35m), from incumbent Starcom.

Following a competitive six-month pitch, Carat will handle media services for the company in several global markets, including the UK, continental Europe and the Americas.

John Engberg, Kohler's manager of global media and web development, said: "We were impressed with Carat's integrated global account management structure and philosophy across all media touch points, offline and online."

Carat USA president Scott Sorokin said: "We're excited and proud that Kohler has selected Carat's global network of media talent to build connections with consumers around the world."
