Capital FM launches TV ad

Capital FM is launching a TV ad to promote an on-air competition called 'London Sound', which gives listeners the chance to win £20,000 a day by identifying a 'secret sound' played on-air. The 30-second spot by Delaney Lund Knox Warren will run across Carlton and LWT for two weeks from today (Thursday), airing during programmes including Footballers' Wives and The Brits, to capture Capital's core target audience of 15-34s. The creative features people in various situations surrounded by money, such as a woman who appears to be in a shower, but turns out to be a cascade of notes, and a woman on a rooftop releasing money into the air. It forms part of a £1m marketing spend for the radio station this quarter. Media is by Zenith Media.
