LONDON (Brand Republic) - Capital Radio, the UK's largest commercial radio group, is reported to be eyeing up the European commercial radio interests of broadcasting group RTL.
Capital is said to be considering extending its reach beyond the UK through an acquisition of RTL's 17 European radio stations, which broadcast mostly in France and Germany.
The group is also thought to be looking to expand in the UK as the government relaxes media ownership rules allowing greater consolidation in the industry.
