The event features a purpose-built 3000 square metre marquee, 12 tonnes of audio-visual rigging and a large air conditioning infrastructure to combat the heat.
The event, which will be attended attended by 350 invited guests including the Emir of Qatar and international royal dignitaries, will feature a 45 minute show followed by a five star lunch in an adjacent glass walled structure.
Located one hour away from Qatar capital Doha, Laffan Refinery is part of the Ras Laffan Industrial City, one of the largest oil and gas plants in the world.
The refinery has a processing capacity of 146,000 barrels per stream day.
