Canterbury of New Zealand links with Guinness to launch sports clothing range

The 18-piece range of men's casual wear will launch in Spring 2009 marking Guinness's 250th anniversary.  The range of rugby shirts, polo shirts, hooded tops and t-shirts will feature the Guinness and 1979 logos and will be distributed in the US, Central Europe, the UK and Ireland.

Diageo licensing director David Derry said that he was confident the collaboration would extend Guinness's global reach and help contemporise the Guinness brand.

Canterbury has a strong rugby heritage and currently provides the national team kit for Ireland.
