
The UK took home a dozen Media Lions, double last year's return, including the solitary Gold Lion for Mindshare UK London's "Kleenex catches colds" work for Kimberly Clark, as well as five Silver and Six Bronze Lions.
Australia took home the next most Media Lions, with ten, followed by Brazil (nine) and the USA (eight). The Grand Prix went to Ogilvy & Mather Amsterdam, which triumphed with its 'Why Wait Until It's Too Late?' campaign for funeral insurance company Dela.
The UK's five Silver Lions went to Carat London, Gravity Road London, Maxus Global, OMD UK London and UM London, while the six Bronze Lion winners were Google UK London, GroupM London, Lowe & Partners London, MEC London, Topshop London and Vizeum London.
Five nations managed more Gold Lions than the UK, including: Australia with four, France with three, and Peru, Thailand and the USA, each of which took home two Gold Lions.
In addition to the Grand Prix, The Netherlands took home a Silver and a Bronze Lion.
The UK's 12 Lions came from a total of 17 nominations.
