As well as its Grand Prix for direction, 'Meet The Superhumans', Channel 4’s much-lauded campaign to promote its Paralympics coverage, also picked up a Silver Lion for Editing and two bronzes, for Best Production Value and Best Use of Music.
Also on Saturday night, 'Meet The Superhumans' claimed a gold in the Film Lions. The campaign won ±±¾©Èü³µpk10's campaign of the year 2012, as well as gongs at the British Arrows and the Marketing Society Awards.
Overall, UK entrants took home 11 Film Craft Lions, including three golds, one in the Art Direction category for Havas Worldwide London, "metamorphosis" for Credit Suisse, and two for The Mill London.
The Mill London’s two gold-winning spots were "98% human" for Peta, created with BBDO New York, in the Visual Effects category and a Script Gold Lion for Guinness "cloud", with Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO.
Other Bronze Lion winners included Grey London, which took home two (for The Sun "get involved" and Vodafone "the kiss"); MJZ London for Heineken "the express" with Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, and AMV BBDO for Camelot "dreams".
In 2012, UK agencies and production companies also took home 11 Film Craft Lions, although the split was different with two golds, six silvers and three bronzes.
