
Nationwide activity will start at the end of March, with Brave brand ambassadors and Cancer Research staff recruiting people to enter, taking personal details and payment at shopping centres and train stations.
Race packs will then be sent separately in the post.
"We saw some terrific ideas from some great agencies, but Brave came up with what we felt was the best creative and strategic thinking," said Rachel Carr, Cancer Research UK's national manager for regional marketing and communications.
