Campbell quits Visit London to head up Dome

Visit London chief executive David Campbell is to quit the tourism body at the end of March to take on a role with the owners and developers of London’s Millennium Dome.

Visit London chief executive David Campbell is to quit the tourism body at the end of March to take on a role with the owners and developers of London’s Millennium Dome. Campbell is to join Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) UK, which also owns the Manchester Evening News Arena, as chief executive. He will oversee the development of the Dome, which is a potential Olympic venue, into the 20,000-seat London Dome Arena. Visit London is currently advertising the vacancy and hopes to announce a replacement imminently
