±±¾©Èü³µpk10 and GoDaddy reveal winners of Cannes Lions competition to #±±¾©Èü³µpk10forEquality

The winners are Kathryn Webb, creative developer at AKQA, Lolly Morris, digital design director at Iris Worldwide and Ina O'Murchu, a creative innovative technologist.

The GoDaddy Creative Tech Innovation Award was scooped by Natasha Lytton, head of marketing and communications at micro seed investment fund Seedcamp and the GoDaddy Pro Scholarship went to Tess Couglan-Allen, marketing manager at FlexiDB, a database framework for WordPress and mobile apps.

The winners will share their experience of the festival on the ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 website and write for the GoDaddy Pro blog on creative technology topics.

The prize, which includes Platinum passes to the festival, flights from London, onward travel to the festival and accommodation, will also see the winners share their Cannes experience with ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 readers throughout the festival, which kicks off next week.

Commenting on the standard of entries, Kate Cox, vice-president, chief marketing officer GoDaddy EMEA, said: "There was an amazing quality of entrants with many women pioneering new ways of working in the creative technology space combining work and life in a more fulfilling and interesting ways."

The scholarship is part of a range of activity planned by ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 to highlight the importance of equality in the creative industries during the festival.

A census from the IPA earlier this year found that women now hold only 30% of executive management positions in advertising, down from 33.1% in 2015. The problem is even more acute in the technology sector; a lack of equality means 40% of women in the UK feel that most technology is made by men for men, according to data from J Walter Thompson’s Female Tribes study.

"Increasing diversity in the creative and tech industries is not just the right thing to do, it makes brilliant business sense. We are thrilled to help the next generation of talent have their voices heard at Cannes this year and move the diversity debate from column inches to tangible change."
