Camera-shy Ozzy rules out a return to reality television

LONDON – Ozzy Osbourne has said his family will not return for another series of reality TV show 'The Osbournes' because he has had enough of the filming.

"At the end of it, I didn't like having cameras around the house all the time," he told reporters at the MTV Music Awards in Rome. "When you watch a 25-minute episode, I've been filming all day."

His wife Sharon Osbourne, currently judging on ITV1's 'X-Factor', said: "Now everybody's doing reality shows. He's done it, he's been there, he's got to do something else."

The Osbournes are believed to have earned around £46m from the three series of the show.

The Osbourne family are not the only ones to get bored as viewers have started to abandon the show.

Last year's third-season premiere on US MTV saw viewer numbers down by almost 50% with just 3.4m tuning into watch the F-word-loving Ozzy, daughter Kelly, son Jack and wife Sharon.

In November 2002, the show's second-season pulled in 6.6m, showing the law of diminishing returns was doing its thing.
