Calypso to offer licensed juices

Fruit drink brand Calypso is bolstering its offering with a 'his and hers' range based on Spider-Man and Groovy Chick.

The launch, which will be promoted through in-store marketing activity, comes ahead of the summer launch of the movie Spider-Man 2.

Groovy Chick is a £200m retail brand for girls, offering items from school stationery to bags.

The drinks, which will replace Calypso's Cartoon Network range, will be available in two flavours: orange juice for boys and apple and blackcurrant for girls.

Targeting the school lunchbox market, the drinks will be sold in triple packs of 200ml single-serve cartons, retailing at 69p.
