The Kraft-owned chocolate giant is introducing the star-shaped milk chocolates in September.

The new product has been created to celebrate Cadbury’s partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation. The chocolate maker will donate 10% of the profits from Cadbury Wishes to the charity.

Cadbury Wishes will be sold at 59p per bag and form part of a number of changes to Cadbury’s Christmas offering. These include revamps to the packaging of its Selection box range and its Snow bites.

It is unclear if Cadbury will support the new product with above-the-line support.

The company has pledged to donate £400,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation over three years.
