The US food giant said the reducancies would span across Cadbury's head office in Uxbridge and its Bournville site in Birmingham.
The redundancies will impact finance, legal and the corporate affairs function, while Cadbury's sales and marketing function will be spared.
The affected staff entered into a 90-day consultation period on 1 March.
Last month Kraft announced it was to close Cadbury's Somerdale factory near Bristol - a move that will result in the loss of around 400 jobs.
Kraft, in a statement, said: "The consultation will include discussion of opportunities for Cadbury staff at Kraft Foods in line with its ‘best of both' approach, which may limit the number of eventual redundancies."
Cadbury employs 4,500 people in the UK. Around 2,500 are based in Bournville and 400 are employed in Uxbridge.
Cadbury also has plants in Herefordshire and Somerset.
