The new housemates will enter the house on Thursday June 5 with Davina McCall returning to present the launch show and eviction shows direct from the house.
The house is designed to create a confusing world for the contestants with a dormitory-style bedroom but a "super-bling" bathroom with gold and blue decor.
When housemates enter the house they will walk down steps into a large carpeted living area filled with comfortable sofas and plush coverings, mixed with angular light-boxes and the large dining room table.
The bathroom has a huge bath with an ostentatious gold swan tap, surrounded by flowers, greenery, gold statues and blue velvet sofas.
In stark contrast, the bedroom has basic beds with scratchy thin blankets, uncomfortable mattresses and locker walls like those seen in school corridors.
The garden has a swimming pool, lounge chairs and an enclosed seating area for housemates to gossip in private. For the smokers in the house, there is an Alice in Wonderland-proportioned giant ashtray for smokers to sit in.
Virgin Mobile will be the lead sponsor for 'Big Brother 9' for the second year running, following its involvement in 'Big Brother 8' and 'Big Brother Celebrity Hijack' earlier this year.
New sponsorship idents are being created for the series, primarily featuring Virgin Mobile, but also other Virgin Media services.
'Big Brother's Little Brother' will return on E4 Monday to Friday and on T4 each Sunday. George Lamb and Zezi Ifore have taken over from Dermot O'Leary as hosts of the show.
'Big Brother's Big Mouth' will broadcast live after the nightly Channel 4 show with a line-up of special guest presenters.
David Williams, Channel 4 editor for 'Big Brother', said: "It wouldn't be summer without the big daddy of all reality shows and this year looks set to be more gripping than ever.
"There's a brand new house, Davina is back to grill the evictees on Friday nights, George and Zezi are joining BBLB, and a brand new group of housemates are ready to walk through that door and into our lives."
