These include: 'So You Think You're Funny?', the breeding ground for comedians Kay and Lee Mack; 'The Perrier Comedy Awards'; 'Late 'n' Live', 'Ealing Live!'; and 'Comedy Night at MGEITF', which is open to delegates of the Edinburgh TV festival.
Comedian Garth Marenghi was a winner of The Perrier Comedy Award while Johnny Vegas got his TV break after being spotted at 'Late 'n' Live'.
Channel 4 will also produce a satirical fact sheet called Edinburgh Fun with articles from established comedians, including 'Smack the Pony' writers Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, and Adam Buxton from 'The Adam and Joe Show'.
The one-page fact sheet will be included in Saturday's The Guardian newspaper.
