Contestants are cut off from the outside world, without clocks and windows, and have no idea whether it is day or night.
Participants are told only when they arrive what the rules of the competition are and must then decide between themselves which one of them deserves the £1m prize.
The show has already been a hit in the US earlier this year, where it was the second highest rated show of the season among 16 to 34-year-olds.
