A campaign promoting Butlins’ revamped holiday camps launches on
Friday as Rank attempts to modernise the image of its leisure
brands.
The cartoon-style ads, which highlight the high street restaurants now
available within the camps, break on Friday through WCRS. Rank has
recently invested pounds 139m in redeveloping Butlins resorts,
introducing West End-style shows and musicals featuring super heroes, to
encourage families to take short breaks. Rank is simultaneously
revamping its Mecca Bingo and Odeon cinema chains.
