Business: United Biscuits takes on two for £1m POProllout

United Biscuits has handed its £1 million permanent POP contract jointly to in-store marketing agency Bezier, and POP design and manufacture company Barrows following a five-way pitch.

"We need to make sure we're at the forefront of POP within the FMCG sector, and are looking to refresh our in-store presence across the group," said Louise Williams, point of purchase manager at United Biscuits.

The biscuit and snack manufacturer's brand portfolio currently includes McVitie's, KP and Jacob's. The account will be run from Bezier's Bristol operation.

Bezier acquired brand communications agency Poulters last summer, and permanent POP supplier Pointer, to strengthen its creative and permanent POP capabilities.
