‘Don't Stop Believing' is an ‘X-Factor'-style entertainment programme which will look for established and first-time singing and dancing groups who will take part in live elimination shows over the summer.

Bunton said: "Like millions of others I'm currently completely obsessed with musical performance groups so I am beyond excited to have been asked to be the host of ‘Don't Stop Believing', which promises to be the TV event of the summer.

"It will be an unmissable all-singing, all-dancing spectacle which will transform the lives of those taking part but above all excite, surprise and delight viewers."

Bunton's previous presenting experience includes time as a judge on ITV's entertainment show ‘Dancing on Ice' and as a DJ on Global Radio's Heart.

Donna Taberer, head of entertainment at Five, said: "I am utterly thrilled to have Emma fronting this ambitious, summer extravaganza for Five. Emma's singing, dancing and presenting pedigree is unrivalled. She is the perfect host for ‘Don't Stop Believing'."

The programme is being made by GroupM Entertainment, the production arm of WPP's media division GroupM, which creates, produces and distributes content, allowing the agency group to generate additional income from selling formats overseas.
