Bunnyfoot to raise disabled usability issues

Web usability firm Bunnyfoot is to alert web site owners to the needs of disabled web users through a promotion in Braille for a free bottle of champagne.

The firm will mail about 750 chief executives with the letters this week to promote an awareness forum set up by Bunnyfoot (www.bunnyfoot.com) in association with the Royal National Institute for the Deaf.

The mailshot will be followed by another letter emphasising the frustration of being excluded from key information, and how millions of users find it difficult to access certain web sites.

The forum, called 'Driving empowerment and internationalisation with accessible multi-media', takes place on 30 May.
