Bullseye expands online, mobile presence

LONDON - Independent producer Bullseye Television is expanding its online TV presence on Joost, and is in talks with an unnamed mobile phone operator to launch a Braindead mobile TV channel. The mobile service will feature shorter versions of the programming available to Joost users.

Bullseye, which is part of the Zodiak group of TV companies, is to split its Braindead-branded video channel on Joost, the broadband TV service backed by the founders of Skype.

Four channels will be launched: Braindead COMEDY, Braindead CRIME, Braindead SPORT and Braindead REALITY.

The re-packaging into four video channels is aimed at enabling Bullseye to more fully expose its programming archive.

Launching in the middle of next month with an initial selection of programmes, the four Braindead channels will expand their programming throughout next year.
