Bullet hired for Jacob's Creek promotional push

LONDON - Bullet has been hired by Pernod Ricard to handle a point-of-sale campaign for its Jacob's Creek wine brand.

The campaign launches next spring and will involve as-yet-undisclosed incentive offers through activity in shops and bars.

The campaign by Bullet will also be backed up by an advertising push for the brand, which is a former sponsor of Channel 4's US import 'Friends'.

Stuart Gulliver, Bullet director, said: "The work will focus on added-value promotions across off-licences, convenience stores, pubs and cash and carry in support of the advertising work."

Bullet was hired after a five-way pitch and follows the appointment last month of Dare to handle digital advertising for the brand. Dare's work includes developing the brand's first UK specific website as well as email marketing.

It is estimated that Jacob's Creek spends around 拢4m on advertising in the UK each year and uses its Australian agency Clemenger BBDO for its UK creative work.
