LONDON - Budweiser has asked agencies pitching for its £5 million advertising account to sign a non-disclosure agreement that includes an intellectual property rights waiver.

Any agency looking to progress in the pitch was told that as well as producing three fully formed campaigns within the two-week pitch timescale, they must all sign away the IP rights.

This will effectively leave Budweiser with 12 finished and usable campaigns and no actual need to appoint an agency if it decides it does not want to or need to.

Two agencies, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and DDB, remain in the pitch after the incumbent, Fallon, and TBWA\London resigned from the competition.
