BT Vision signs up Viacom channels

BT has signed content deals with Viacom channels MTV, Paramount and Nickelodeon UK for its fortchoming broadband TV service, BT Vision.

Under the video-on-demand agreements, the channels will supply some of their most popular entertainment content for the service.
BT Vision users will have access to MTV shows including Punk'd and Pimp My Ride, Nickelodeon cartoon The Rugrats, and Comedy Store from Paramount Comedy.
At launch, BT Vision customers will be able to watch a range of on-demand film, music and television programmes as well as interactive services and all the Freeview channels with no compulsory subscription.
BT Vision has already announced content deals with companies including Dreamworks, BBC Worldwide, Future Publishing, Momentum and Universal.
