
The charity, in partnership with BT, will be offering a total of nine one-hour experiences or ‘flights’. Each slot will cater to 88 guests, and the first will kick-off at 1pm, with the final experience set to conclude at 11pm.
On the day, guests will be transported to the building’s rotating floor on level 34 to enjoy the views of London’s skyline, as they sip on champagne and consume a sweet snack.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to RedR, to help the charity provide disaster relief around the world.
Alice Hardy, corporate and events coordinator at RedR, told Event: "BT is one of our key corporate patrons, and have kindly offered us the tower to raise vital funds for our disaster relief work around the world.
"This event is the biggest in the RedR calendar and gives us a unique opportunity to reach a consumer audience, as we primarily work with the corporate sector. In total we hope to raise around £40,000 from ticket sales and are very grateful to BT for their fantastic support."
RedR also teamed up with BT to host an event within the space in October of last year, and in December 2013 they delivered a Christmas-themed event within the space.
In June it was announced that , to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The October event will enable those who missed out on a ticket the chance to experience the space.
