To address public antipathy towards door drops, BT carried out a different kind of door drop, by recruiting Cardiff City player Junior Hoilett to "deliver" personalised BT footballs to people in the Welsh capital.
Hoilett kicked the balls into the back gardens of fans in the Leckworth and Grangetown areas of the city. This was supplemented with a more conventional 4 page A5 leaflet highlighting the details of the BT broadband with BT Sport deal.
