BT Retail shakes up marketing for unified message

BT Retail has moved head of consumer communications Katrina Lowes

into a new role as head of marketing operations for major business. The

shift comes as part of a restructure of marketing services which sees

its business and consumer teams merging.

Lowes, who has been one of the key marketers behind BT's advertising

campaigns, will now report to Simon Kelly, head of marketing for major

business at BT Retail.

Her previous role has been taken up by head of business communications

Catherine Kehoe, who will oversee both consumer and business

communications for the BT Retail division. Kehoe will continue to report

to Amanda Mackenzie, director of marketing services at the division.

Kehoe will bring together two teams of 20 that previously worked on

business and consumer communications.

Mackenzie said the changes would lead to a more uniform approach.

BT Retail is set to launch TV ads for the next instalment of its BT

Together campaign on Monday. It will highlight the availability of free

evening and weekend calls.
