
Johnstone will take on a strategic position working across The Brooklyn Brothers' existing clients, as well as helping the agency to develop possible new business opportunities.
He will work closely with The Brooklyn Brothers' founding partner George Bryant and senior planner Matt Springate in the role.
Johnstone joined DLKW 11 months ago, and has in particular been responsible for developing the agency's Burger King and COI clients.
Previous to that he had worked at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO as a board planning director, overseeing the strategy on accounts including Department of Health, Sainsbury's, Diageo and PepsiCo.
Johnstone said: "I'm sorry to leave some talented people after such a short time, but the industry is changing fast at the moment and I think Brooklyn Brothers are in good shape to lead the way."
