Britvic hires international marketing director

Soft-drinks manufacturer Britvic has hired Pamela Bower-Nye to the new role of international marketing director.

Bower-Nye will report directly to Simon Stewart, Britvic’s group marketing director.

Stewart, group marketing director at Britvic, said: "Pamela is a proven strategic business leader and marketer with international experience in major blue chip companies.

"She has vast experience of managing and marketing some of the world’s biggest brands, and we believe her expertise will help drive our ambitious growth plans, particularly in Europe, Asia and North America, where we are looking to develop Britvic brands in these key markets."

Bower-Nye joins the company from her position as global category director, whisky and gin portfolio brands at Diageo.

Prior to this, Bower-Nye held the position of Nescafé category marketing director at Nestlé UK, following her work at The Body Shop, where she was innovation manager, cosmetic division.

Britvic is the largest supplier of branded soft drinks in the UK, with a portfolio including Robinsons, Tango, Drench and Fruit Shoot.
