The plus-size fashion event, which will take place at London’s Vinopolis on 14 and 15 February, saw around 700 guests attend its inaugural show in 2013. This year, it is looking to attract 1,000 attendees.
The 2014 event will feature four fashion shows showcasing indie designers, as well as bridalwear, lingerie, beachwear and swimwear. A number of plus-size designers have been confirmed for the event including Evans, Tika Soomak, Dea London, Scarlett & Jo, Jane Watsone and OPhee.
New features to the 2014 British Plus Size Fashion Weekend include a VIP gifting lounge for guests to pick up goodie bags, as well as an after-party on the evening of the last day, which will be in the same venue and will consist of a disco and bar.
A shop your shape marketplace will also offer guests the opportunity to speak to experts about their own body shape and clothing styles to suit them.
The event is being co-organised by Trapped in a Skinny World, a plus-size vintage fashion boutique, and lifestyle brand Evolve Media.
