It is the first time the supermarket chain has selected a charity partner and the partnership will kick off with a ‘wear red to work day' on 4 and 5 July.

As part of the tie, the BHF's Heart Health Roadshow will visit selected outlets to encourage donations from Lidl customers as well as raise awareness of healthy living. There will also be in-store activity targeting both customers and staff detailing how to look after their heart health.
