The latest instalment, in which viewers voted for two contestants to go though to Saturday's live final, attracted a 35.2% share of the audience between 8.30pm-10pm. The first live semi final netted 10.9m viewers on Monday night.
There will be further 'semi-finals' of the programme tonight, Thursday and Friday.
The tenth episode of BBC One's 'The Apprentice' bounced back from a mere 5m viewers last week after it lost out to live coverage of the Champions League final on ITV1, with 6.5m viewers and a 25.6% share last night.
The business reality show's sister programme 'The Apprentice: You're Fired', presented by Adrian Chiles, scored 3.3m viewers and a 15.8% share on BBC Two, at 10pm-10.30pm.
Channel 4's 'Gordon Ramsay's F Word' could only manage a lowly 1.1m viewers and a 4.4% share between 9pm-10pm, as 'Britain's Got Talent' dominated prime time viewing. Including figures from Channel 4+1 it drew 1.5m viewers and a 6% share.
It was also beaten by Five's US crime drama 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', with 1.6m viewers and a 6.3% share.
However, Channel 4's beauty series '10 Years Younger' opened with a solid 2m viewers and an 8.4% share earlier in the evening at 8pm-9pm.
Last night's episode, which was the first of an 11-part series, earned a further 68,000 viewers and a 0.2% share on Channel 4+1, taking its total audience share up to 8.7%, with the individual audience unchanged at 2m viewers.
