Taylor has been in the position for the last 24 years and has been at the London-based business, a division of the Hemming Group, for a further ten years.

He will leave Brintex on 31 October and will remain as a company director.

Bill Butler, commercial director, has been appointed to head up the Brintex exhibition and conference organising business from 1 November. He joined the company in 1996 to work on the company’s traffic engineering, road safety and public sector programme of shows.

Taylor told Event: "I am delighted that Bill has been chosen by Brintex's chairman, John Hemming, to succeed me in running our exhibition and conference organising business. Bill has enormous experience of organising large and small shows in many of the larger venues in the UK and also in various European venues.

"He will be supported by an incredibly able team at Brintex and I am sure our business will continue to thrive under his management."
