Brands back XTP ad sites on Tube

Nestle, Sky, Magners, Paramount, InBev and Dewynters have signed up as official launch partners of CBS Outdoor's cross-track projection service (XTP) on the London Underground.

Giant screens carrying soundless commercial content in full motion and HD quality at 23 sites have gone live within five of the capital's busiest Tube stations.

Piccadilly Circus, Bank, Liverpool Street, Euston and Bond Street have all been fitted with the high-tech projectors and screens, each of which is linked to a digital advertising network that enables advertisers to remotely update their messages. The six launch partners will run ads for a minimum of six weeks from this week.

Advertisers can vary the times and the messages they use to promote different brands. For example, Sky News will use a morning slot to advertise to commuters, while Sky One and Sky Movies are using evening slots to promote that night's programme schedule.
