Branding news: Molton Brown to bolster spa line

Molton Brown, the luxury cosmetics and skincare brand, is expanding its range of spa products.

The range, designed by Jones Knowles Ritchie, includes face and body oils, de-stressing body exfoliaters and a snowberry and oat nourishing cream mask.

The products are designed for use in professional spas or at home.

Molton Brown has been expanding its spa offering since opening its first day spa at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent in 2002.

Over the past four years the company has added outlets in Cyprus, Ireland and Chester, as well as a travel spa in New York's JFK Airport.

The latter is an extension of Molton Brown's relationship with British Airways, to which it supplies therapies for passengers.

Last May the brand ran a direct mail campaign targeting affluent consumers.
