The work, by Creative Leap, aims to draw on the heritage of both brands and brings them together under the Alliance Boots umbrella.
The blue and green colour palettes of both brands have been used, while the typography has been created by combining their fonts.
The logo, which features two crescents that form an oval shape, is intended to represent the globe, emphasising the international nature of the merged company.
The corporate identity will not affect the retail branding of either firm.
