The not-for-profit agency has been tasked with developing a more clearly defined identity for the charity.
Last November, the government announced plans to give the charity a £7.5m boost to support its work in the funding and promotion of research into motor neurone disease. The degenerative condition causes sufferers to lose limb function, as well as experience difficulties with speaking, breathing and swallowing.
The disease affects about 5000 people in Britain. One of the most high-profile sufferers is celebrated physicist Stephen Hawking.
