Ecosure paints, which will launch in May, will include Matt, Gloss and Undercoat variants. The matt product will be available in Brilliant White, magnolia and the full ICI Dulux Trade colours, while the gloss and undercoat paints will be available in Pure Brilliant White and a range of colours.
David Shepherd, brand manager for Dulux Trade, said that specifying products that deliver on sustainability and performance had been challenging due to the complex nature of the issue and the number of brands making this claim.
The Ecosure range was developed with sustainability body Forum for the Future. Its sustainability claim is based on two criteria: embodied carbon and Volatile Organic Compounds.
