The BBC is to consolidate all of BBC Two's English regions' current affairs programmes into a new series on BBC One, called Inside Out. The aim is to carry viewers of the BBC News hour into the broadcaster's early-evening programming. The name and on- and off-air identity for the series, which launches on September 9, have been created by Lambie-Nairn, which also contributed to the initial programme strategy. All 11 regions will follow a consistent theme and format, with three films per edition, and will air on BBC One on Mondays between 7.30 and 8pm.
