BRANDING BRIEF: National Canine Defence League is to ditch name
The National Canine Defence League has confirmed it is ditching its name in favour of Dogs Trust (Marketing, July 10). Both the name and revamped logo were created by Interbrand. The consultancy modified the logo for the UK's biggest dog welfare charity to make the dog look "less like a cow", according to marketing director Adrian Burder. The slogan, 'A dog is for life not just for Christmas', remains.
