Brand Republic shortlisted in online publishing awards

LONDON - Brand Republic has been shortlisted twice for the Association of Online Publishers 2003 awards.

Brand Republic was shortlisted in the Best Digital Product or Service category alongside VNU Business Publications' Accountancyage.com; Reed Business Information's caterer.com; and Financial News's efinancialnews.com, among others.

Brand Republic was shortlisted again in the Best New Launch Business category for Media Bulletin, which is produced in association with ±±¾©Èü³µpk10, alongside Reed Business Information's gazetteers.com and IDG Communications' techworld.com.

This year's AOP awards have seen a number of top media brands shortlisted, including Capital FM, The Guardian and Vogue.

In the AOP award for Best Digital Consumer Product or Service, Aloud.com, BBC.co.uk, FHM.com, FT.com, redhotcurry.com and thisismoney.co.uk have been shortlisted.

Judging for the AOP Online Publishing Awards 2003 took place on September 5, when 21 experts in online media gathered to review a record number of entries.

Haymarket Motoring, Rivals Digital Media, New Crane Internet, Rodale and Times Newspapers were shortlisted for the Online Publisher of 2003 award in the consumer category, and Estates Gazette Group, Reed Chemical Group and TSL Education are candidates for the business category.

The awards will be presented at a black-tie dinner on October 14 at the Millennium Mayfair hotel in London, following the AOP Online Publishing Conference 2002 -- Building revenue through loyalty and innovation.
