Describe yourself in three words.
Driven, relentless, ironman.

How would you define marketing?
Recognising a potential consumer need, and delivering the product and the message.

What advice would you give someone starting their marketing career today?
You need to stand out, do things differently to sell your-self.  If there are companies out there that you identify and connect with, go and see them. If they are based a long way away, call them. Be proactive.

If you weren't you, who would you be?
My logical brain just kicked in, that is impossible.

What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?
Struggling to make it as a professional athlete.

Do you have any hobbies?
It's more a second job. I race in triathlons and Ironman events internationally for Britain, which involves 30 hours of training a week.

What's your favourite bar or restaurant?
Snickers.

What can't you live without?
My trainers, I go through about six pairs a year, and my iPod.

If you were a brand, what would you be?
Duracell.

What attracted you to your current job?
It probably is my ideal job - combining sport and work in one. I see the benefits of For Goodness Shakes! on a daily basis. It makes it easy to connect with our consumers and talk about its benefits.

What is your favourite slogan?
'
Impossible is nothing', and 'LiveStrong'.

When was your finest hour?
On 5 April I qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

What is your biggest ambition?
To win the above.
