
The Brand Event Awards is a boutique event that launched last year.
Being held this year at Madame Tussauds on 29 November, the Brand Event Awards breaks away from the traditional awards format and instead offers guests drinks, canapés, bowl food and entertainment, and most importantly an awards ceremony that lasts no longer than 35 minutes.
Last year the event attracted 300 guests comprisiing of only brands and agencies, while the likes of Everything Everywhere, Castrol and M&S scooped awards.
This year the Brand Event Awards has added a new category, Best Sponsorship Event Strategy for the Olympics, which will will take into account the strategy from before, during and after the event.
The brand should provide comprehensive details of how the strategy met the brief, the ROI it delivered and the methods used to measure this, as well as how it interacted with its consumers and proved more effective than a traditional above the line marketing campaign.
