Bradshaw takes 30% stake in Market Location

LONDON - Data industry expert Patrick Bradshaw has taken a 30% stake in Market Location's B2B data business and has joined the firm as a director.

Bradshaw, who has more than eight years' experience in the data industry, joins Market Location from Thomson Directories where he was business development manager. Prior to that, he was field sales manager at Yellow Pages.

On joining the firm, he will also become part of Market Location's management team and will work alongside managing director Steve Cook.

Bradshaw said: "With its expertise, track record and future plans, Market Location has a massive advantage over the other players in the industry. The opportunity to join the company as part-owner was simply impossible to miss."

Cook added: "Patrick's appointment couldn't come at a better time. Following our buy-out last year, we have got some exciting things planned for 2006 and are confident that Market Location will exceed expectations as a player in the B2B data industry. Patrick's expertise and knowledge of the data industry will be instrumental in this."

The remaining 70% stake in Market Location is divided between Cook with 30% and fellow director Paul Spinks who holds 40%.

The investment comes as the data firm rebrands with a new logo consists of two hearts overlapping, which has been designed to represent the more personal approach of Market Location.
