Booking.com, the holiday site, created a bedroom at the top of the Shard to give a couple a "spectacular" view of the Bonfire Night celebrations.
The building is the tallest in Western Europe, and Booking.com said the room it created was Britain’s highest bedroom. This is the first time that someone has stayed overnight at the viewing platform, the brand added.
A couple from Nottingham won the experience at The View from The Shard, and stayed over last night to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, and watch the fireworks across London.
