Bookatable has joined forces with gastro-physicist Professor Charles Spence and Swedish music producer Axel Boman to create the first Musical Menus Festival, which runs from 27 November until 11 December 2016.

The festival will put diners’ senses to the test by highlighting how sound can affect the taste of food in the shape of bespoke musical menus. Diners will be taken on a sensory journey with special playlists that have been created to be in perfect tune with the menus.

The special menus are available at Heliot Steak House, London between 27 to 29 November; Hilton Double Tree in Woking between 5 to 11 December; Marco Pierre White Oyster Bar in London between 5 to 9 December; R S Hispaniola, London on 29 and 30 November and 1, 6, 7 December and Cigalon in London between 28 November to 2 December.
