Bollore to increase Havas stake to 31%

LONDON - French magnate Vincent Bollore is to increase his stake in marketing services group Havas, of which he is chairman, to 31%.

Bollore is already the largest shareholder with 26.6% of Havas. He has the option to purchase another 4% from Sebastian Holdings, and has said he plans to do so in June.

Speaking at a news conference for the results for the Bollore Group, through which he invested in Havas, he said: "On Havas, we will increase our stake to 31% and we do not intend to move up further."
